One of the things I love about metal is that no matter how long you've been into it and how much of it you store in your memory banks there's always something to discover. Haven't heard tighter guitars in my life. Also, you get a decent hour of music for your hard earned buck, which is nice. The bible says the band is still active so it would be about time for something new, hmmm?

Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection.

Simple Black Metal with great atmosphere. Other than the studio version of "For the Glory of Satan" the live version really rocks! One of the rare tracks that together with "Gut the church" have burned themselves into my brain and I can't get them out anymore. Heathen Deity might be one of the most underrated BM bands of all times, delivering 2 tracks that should be on every BM playlist.
